BBK Coyote 5.0 Swap 1-3/4" Long Tube Headers.

See how easy it is to install a set of our BBK Coyote Swap long tube headers on any Fox body or SN95 project.
Take a look at how Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords installed a set of BBK Coyote swap headers on their 1985 Coyote coupe project.

Editors Kristian Grimsland and Marc Christ install a full BBK exhaust system on this project car with great results.

Kristian and Marc contacted us here at BBK Performance some time back to ask us if they could get a full exhaust for one of their editorial project cars, how could we refuse so we got a full system shipped out to them to get the "Howling Coyote" project rolling.

These guys at Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords know how to turn a wrench and they pay great attention to detail every time to ensure they inform their readers the full details of the installation.

So after UPS delivered the BBK headers and exhaust to their shop it was time for them to get the tools out and turn their attention to installing the BBK high flow CNC 1-3/4" mandrel bent "Coyote Swap" long tube headers part number 16340 (silver ceramic coated finish headers that fit for either a Fox body or SN95 Mustang)

The matching mid pipes were also supplied and they are available in either Off road race only or with high flow steel substrate converters part # 1786 - we highly recommend a matching 3" cat back exhaust system like our all new soon to be released varitune adjustable cat back exhaust system.

Please note: Because of this type of custom installation the mid pipes end at the same point under the car - so depending on the cat back used - modifications to the length of the flow tubes to mufflers will be required.

This swap does require the use of a maximum motorsports front k member and depending on the transmission used one or two slight modifications may be needed to allow for good ground clearance.

At this time our swap headers will only install with a manual transmission - they will not work with an automatic transmission.

Please note that the exhaust tail pipes shown in this article are actualy first article R&D pieces, production will have polished stainless steel tail pipes and tips
