We think Dennis Collins is still celebrating after he sold his collection of eight early Fox body and SN95 Mustangs for world record prices on Wednesday at the Barrett Jackson auctions in Scottsdale AZ.
Dennis was hesitant at first to take this fantastic rare private collection to Scottsdale as some people had recommended that he possibly wait another 10 years or so to see if the Mustang collectors market would mature more and he could possibly sell for a lot more.
Well seems that Dennis decided to roll the dice, take a gamble and take them to the auction.
Wednesday was a busy day for Ford Mustang News as we saw Ford announce the 2018 Mustang in Los Angeles and Detroit and also Dennis roll his corral of Mustangs across the auctioneers block at Barrett Jackson to fetch world record prices for six of the eight Mustangs he sold.
Insiders now think that the prices these Mustangs sold for really represents a new era for third and fourth generation Mustangs in the collectors market and we will see additional world records broken in the years to come.
As big Mustang enthusiasts here at BBK we would like to offer our congratulations to Dennis.
