Chassis flex on the Mustang design has always been a problem, especially on the convertibles.
To fix this-install a set of BBK Gripp Mustang Sub-frame connectors. Available to fit all 79-04 Mustangs & Cobra’s.
They are manufactured with super strong boxed steel that will help give your uni-body Mustang the handling and feel of a full-frame chassis. New kits are now available that feature - “seat mounting brackets” for additional strength and safety. All BBK sub-frame connectors feature die-stamped brackets and hardware for a direct bolt on application or they can be welded in place for maximum strength.
All connectors are fully sealed and powder coated charcoal grey metallic for Great looks and a quality finish.

Product #’s 2520, 2543m – Some Mustang Cobra models require removal of front bracket on subframe connector to clear trans. Cross member.
